About James | Founder, Awaken as Love:
James’s passion is to help call forth our human potential and our soul. His weave brings together more than 22 years experience in techniques, practices and information from the cutting edge of Neuroscience, Tantra, Biodanza, Shamanic & Energy Work, Integral theory and Taoist practices to create a spirituality that is rooted in the body. His evolutionary approach is to work on all lines, levels, states and parts of ourselves in bringing forth our fullest potential.
His shamanic work includes being Vision Quest rites of passage guide, holding Sweatlodge Ceremonies as well as Sacred Cacao Rituals. He is also part of the International School of Temple Arts faculty. He has been dancing Biodanza since 2003 and now works as a teacher and a didactic teacher (qualified to teach other teachers in Biodanza Schools).

Taina Taina Ixchel, MA, is a Shamanic and Tantric Educator, Priestess, Facilitator, Coach, and exquisite Latina goddess queen. She helps people become more powerful and magnetic, create deeper connections with themselves and others so that they can have more fulfilling relationships and lives. Taina has a Master’s Degree, is a Tantric Counselor, a certified Energetic Relationship Practitioner, Holistic Health and Wellness Coach and Theta Healing Practitioner. She’s been practicing Tantra for over 10 years since she was initiated into one-on-one esoteric training with a Master who told her it was her destiny to teach this Love. For over 3 years, she has facilitated monthly Red Tent: Sacred Priestess Circles for womxn to create community and embody the Divine Feminine. Taina also coaches singles and couples to live freely and fully empowered through Tantric and Shamanic principles and hosts regular workshops in San Diego and virtually. She is also the Author of the upcoming book “The Lotus Flower: An Origin Story”. Taina truly embodies pleasure and play as a path to healing, freedom and living a joyful life and specializes in helping others express their highest, most loving, magnetic and playful selves.
